  • Sublicense - Apply a more restrictive license to derivatives
  • Hold Liable - Hold the authors liable for damages

Why GPL-3.0?

We chose GPL-3.0 because it aligns with the WordPress ecosystem. WordPress itself is GPL-licensed, and we believe in the open source philosophy of sharing and collaboration.

The GPL ensures that WyvernPress will always remain free and open source, and that any improvements made by the community benefit everyone.

Premium Features

While the WyvernPress plugin itself is GPL-3.0, our Premium tier includes:

  • Service access - API access to our hosted AI proxy service
  • Support - Priority email support from our team

The Premium subscription is for service access, not software licensing. The plugin code remains fully open source.
